Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is data collected by the Krauss when performing or contacting an individual.
The collection of loyalty customer's personal data may take place in the following ways:
- providing contact details (including your name, personal identification code, postal address, phone number, e-mail address, preferred method of contact) on our website or elsewhere (e.g. shops);
- when using the website from the customer's account information or through cookies
when making a purchase or order in our store or e-shop, when storing personal contact details or information about purchase preferences (Krauss may ask for certain;
- voluntarily provide personal data and personal information in the areas of the website. The required personal data may include name, address, postcode, e-mail address, telephone number and other data).
Collection of other data
We also collect non-personal data – data that cannot be directly linked to a specific person (gender, age, language preference, location).
Use of collected personal data
With the personal data collected, we can inform our customers about Krauss product news, campaigns and upcoming events. A customer who does not wish to be on our newsletter list or receive notifications about products that may be of interest to them can remove themselves from the target audience at any time. The Client can opt out of offers and newsletters sent to the e-mail by notifying us by e-mail or by following the instructions in the e-mail containing the offers, which are located at the footer of the letter. We also use the collected personal data for the delivery of goods and for fulfilling our obligations to the customer.
In order to better serve the customer, Krauss may disclose information about individual users to a third party that provides Krauss services and is contractually bound to keep the shared information confidential. A third party is, for example, our partner, whose tasks are to transport goods sold in the online store.
Your rights with regard to the processing of personal data
You have the right to receive information about the processing of your personal data to the extent provided for in the Personal Data Protection Act and other laws. You have the right to demand the termination of the processing of personal data and the rectification, blocking, erasure and transfer of personal data. If you consider that your rights are violated when processing personal data, you have the right to contact the Data Protection Inspectorate or the court, unless otherwise provided by law. You may also have the right to claim damages on the grounds and pursuant to the procedure provided for in the Law of Obligations Act.
Protection of personal data
Krauss takes all precautionary measures (including administrative, technical and physical measures) to protect the customer's personal data. Only authorised persons shall have access to modify and process the data.
All personal data of the customer that has become known during the visit to the Krauss e-shop and making purchases are treated as confidential information. An encrypted data communication channel with banks ensures the security of the personal data and bank details of the person making the purchase.
Krauss Baltic OÜ is the controller of personal data, Krauss Baltic OÜ forwards the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorised processor Maksekeskus AS.
